Walmart has the
RCA RPJ167 1080P 450 ANSI lumen LED projector for $65 free shipping
This item is now on
clearance so who knows how long they will still have it before it runs out.

This price is only $5 higher than BF price. This projector is of course significantly higher than the sold-out RPJ280 ($30) but you get a significantly higher lumen with
THREE female HDMI ports (instead of only 2 female HDMI, one male HDMI within a weird recess on the RPJ280)
- 50,000hr LED lamp life
- Also has two USB 2.0 to power stream stick as well as to plug in the flash drive to show movies and listen to music
- Has two 5W speakers. Not very loud but will work decently for quiet environment.
- I have this as well as the RPJ280 and I think the price premium of the RPJ167 over the RPJ280 is worth it. You do get a better built product in the RPJ167 compared to the RPJ280
- There is also a 4K interpolation mode that allows this projector to emulate 2160p at 30hz. Found this out when connecting it to my laptop.

This is definitely not one of those. This one even has a usable 2160p 30hz emulation as an unlisted feature
The corner blur issue is definitely less of the issue on this one compared to the RPJ280. I also have the Vankyo V620 which does have the corner blur issue.
Of all the three cheap projectors, this one is definitely the best one IMO
Image gets soft/out of focus around the corners, and I'd expect that's going to be standard on any projector in this price range. I've hooked an Xbox Series S up to it and had a lot of fun playing Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy at 100". It's immersive in a way that smaller TVs just can't match. Obviously there's a hit to picture quality vs whatever 4K TV you currently have, but again just going in with your expectations at reasonable levels I think most anyone would enjoy it for what it is. I get mine out any time were doing a movie night at home and it's just fun, and everyone likes being at the "theater".
Anyway, I hope that helps and feel free to ask any other questions!

The only complaint on the RPJ280 is that there's a little blur in one corner (but for $30, it wasn't a dealbreaker).
Bought the same projector for $30 too and I was very surprised how good it is for $30. I got a cheapo from Amazon as a gift couple of years ago, probably around same price or even higher, and it was unusable. I have the same blur issue as you too, but still a very good deal.
On most of the "higher end" ones that claim to be updated for 2023, they've resolved this issue.
Pretty sure the workaround was to use the same size screen, but at a higher resolution and just mask off part of it.

All projectors, aside from some of the laser ones, are noisy.
These are working with very limited space, so there's not much you can expect without making them bigger.

😶 🌫️🤣🤣🤣
Is the nose too annoying for gaming? More Mario Kart vs Baldur's Gate.
Wont drop that low until the next technology becomes standard. If you want a cheap decent 4K, get a refurb BenQ when it goes on sale. Think it was around $350-$400, but it's pretty decent.
..that's how this all works, right? 😅😅😅
