I still love Jersey Mikes, although their prices have definitely exploded. I have found it's cheaper to buy a giant and split it than two regulars, especially since my wife and I both like the same sandwich. Better than all of the other sandwich chains I've tried.

Which sandwich did you get? I think the Italian has the highest sodium content. So it depends on which sandwich you order. The turkey and roast beef didn't taste salty the last time I had it.

If you order it "Mike's way", that includes a sprinkle of salt. You can ask them to leave that out, or just tell them which toppings you want.

You can customize your sandwich before you check out and remove what you don't want (e.g. salt) from the options they list.

Also, free add-ons like pickles, banana peppers, hot relish, etc. are available when you edit your sandwich.

I usually get the "bowl" version of the sub, which means no bread but presentation is pretty cool with a bed of lettuce at the bottom and the sliced, rolled cuts and cheese layered above along with the selected toppings.

Unfortunately, it only comes in the "Regular" size and not the Giant, otherwise I'd be all over those BOGO deals.

Maybe because processed meat is insanely high in sodium?

Wondering Can you have them split a giant after adding the meats and then have different toppings on each half?

Last month I thought "I could make this way cheaper" so I bought all the ingredients for their club and it was delicious, but it was the better part of $40 for all the meats, cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion, and bread to produce 5 adult size sandwiches. Mine were less calories though about 650 per sandwich instead of 1100 calories since I can control quality and portions of the high cal ingredients better. Granted, I could use the leftover lettuce bacon and cheese for other meals, but dang these sandwiches are actually a bit of money. Anyways $2 off for a club is a pretty good deal.

So after extra delivery/service/tip fees it's buy 2 at normal price which I guess isn't bad for not having to leave your couch.
