You're right, I didn't see the model # change, updated my previous comments!

Looks like the 10AH one is the 'XP' version with more torque & a longer battery warranty.

I think this is a great deal on a great mower. I bought this last year when it was $699, and I didn't get the extra battery. I opened a Lowe's account to get an extra $100 off when I bought mine, which they're doing right now through 3/6 (20% off, up to $100).

Really the battery costs these days. If you take the battery out of the equation, the 10AH battery included is $500 MSRP.

MSRP the mower is $850-500 = $350.

The 5AH free battery you get with this deal is $300 MSRP.

Since the mower + 10AH is $750 (using that $350 for the mower cost).. you're paying $400 for the 10AH battery + 5AH battery which are normally $800 MSRP together.

It's 50% off batteries and they're throwing in a free mower. haha

Is this EGO's most powerful mower? I have the older model single blade mower and it is a little weak for my Bermuda lawn but still gets the job done ok.

Does Volt relates to power of the machine... I've been looking at Greenworks lawnmower at Costco that says 80V... will that be more powerful than this machine?

I placed an order. I tried to cancel the battery but it wouldn't let me as it gave an error. I talked to a CS rep and they cancelled it for me. I've been eyeing one of these for a while. Thanks OP.

Agree. The electric mowers are much lighter than gas so easy to push. Self-propelled just eats up more battery that is not needed, unless maybe you have a really hilly yard or something

Watts is power of an electric motor. Volts X Amps = Watts, so voltage is part of the equation. A 40 V motor at 5 amps is making the same power as a 50 V motor at 4 amps.

Anyone use one of these 7.5 ah batts with the leaf blower? Wondering what kind of runtime you get.

My 25 year old gas pushmower might be on its last leg, but I just use it to get tight spots the rider can't get into easily. So I'd really be more interested in a big battery for blowing leaves in the fall.

Yes but their batteries are very good and have a lot of safety systems built into them for self maintenance. Also EGO I think is selling the best as well. So they are able to get away with inflated prices as long as people keep buying them. Ryobi for the small stuff, EGO for the big stuff.
