Fallout and Fallout 2 are legendary classics and the GOG/Steam versions run perfectly fine on Windows 11. No modifications are necessary.
Your loss for skipping them and your recommendation for skipping them and only playing Bethesda's garbage is a sad joke.

So based on a cursory review, this dumps Fallout 3 into the NV engine, and allows you to quick travel between both maps/games, as well as some stability mods.
Does that sound right, or am I missing a bunch of features?
I certainly agree that the Bethesda engines have never had that same spark as other RPGs that are nearly as old by now. Quantity over quality?
I did this. I honestly never did much in the game at all besides explore. I doubt I even finished more than 5 basic quests.
The combat is so bad in that game I didn't care much.
The last time I spent any significant amount of time playing a game was Fallout 3, so I'm definitely not up to date on these things 😕

they have a steam like app and I think it will also launch steam games. everyone wants you on their store app but in this case you don't need to use it and you can dload the games from the website I think, then you just have the drm free files on your computer and can run em as you like. gog means good old games it's really a throwback website and I think they buy and/or contract with older games to give up their DRM to get on their store with most buyers who are old school in mentality
