Hmmm, I was sort of thinking the same thing. I rarely shop at JCPenney. Maybe it's something like Best Buy does. Btw, Best Buy sent me a $5 certificate too. So check your account or email about that too. I think the Best Buy one expires 3/10.

E-mail for Best Buy was titled "$5 reward certificate, plus $25 more when you upgrade your membership."
