Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.

to setup the voicemail pin have go to settings and enable Call to listen Check and manage your voicemails by calling your Google Voice number.

In fact, order processes took a GV phone number as account number and PIN to reserve it. Once that was clear, I was able to make the payment, plus those scary security questions. The FBI should hire metro people to screen.

From where do you set up the PIN?
Edit: Found it in voice app under Settings. Have to turn on "Call to listen" option.
I have existing account with $40 plan opened last week.
This morning I logged in , chose "Add new line", I chose moto stylus 5G 2023 with $40 plan, I checked out out successful with $40. I went back again, It is not allowed to add another line.
I logged out. I make another order for Razr with port-in with different email and virtual cc, it was another success for total $148.24.
I have too many phones now with 180 days waiting to get unlocked...I need to quit from buying Metro phones now....

First time I tried with a RedPocket number which got reported as Cingular Wireless (didn't know they were still around). But it freaked out at the end. After couple of more retries, Metro blocked that number in first page saying number not eligible.
Got new GV, unlocked it $3.00, set the PIN number by enabling Call to access Voicemail feature (important) and tried.
Metro website kept freaking out on the final step. Turned on the Incognito mode (or Private mode) on the browser and tried the checkout again and voila! checked out the iPhone 12 for 165$.
