Only the first two seasons were good. Last two should probably never been made.

If you just watch season 1 and treat it like an ambiguously ended miniseries, I think it's some of the best TV of all time. Later seasons still look slick, have good performances, etc, but they're kind of a mess in storytelling. S1 is an absolute masterpiece.

I loved season 1 of this show so much. I can see why it cancelled, but hate that HBO yanked it so you can't even enjoy old ones. Thanks OP.

Black mirror for 10 hrs is good but S3 and 4 are something even worse.

For $18 total, the show is a steal.

The show though went off the rails and tried to make the plot so complex with 6th dimensional chess. The rumor is that somebody or a small group of people on reddit figured out the plot of season 1 or something halfway through the show piecing together breadcrumbs that had been given to the audience thus far. Then, the creator/writer of the show read the discussion and decided to plot his revenge and ensure that never happened again.

So, rather than a congruent show that had a twist ending that connected everything together in the finale for the vast majority of the casual audience, it morphed into a show where anything could be used to justify any turn of the show for any reason.

The premise of the show was awesome in season 1, but like Heroes, everything after just fell apart. Sliders was similar in that it started off great, and then just went off the rails with main characters leaving the show and story arcs that were dumb.

Agree s1/s2 is good and s3/s4 is mediocre. Acting is still great but the story is just irrelevant. They could've been better off staying inside the park

The storyline just kind of went off the rails and it drifted too far from the original storyline, IMO.

Freaking LOVED S1. S2 seemed to start going off the rails a bit but I didn't finish it. Always meant to go back, this might be the time. But I've not heard great things about 3 and 4…

It was originally a book by Michael Crighton (also wrote Jurassic Park and a bunch of other very famous sci-fis that were later made into movies/shows). There are some earlier movie adaptations from the 70s that were pretty good IMHO as well including the sequel, Futureworld.

That show was my all time favorite after seeing season 1, It was so damn good. Then season 2 came out and it was okay, season 3 killed it and I stop watching the show.
