real bonus is the hdmi 1.4b port but the major downer is you will need to use the ac barrel plug for charging.

Also, it's IPS unlike the other HP 15 deal on the Ryzen model.
And, this could have either of the only two display options, 250-nits 45% NTSC or 300-nits 100% sRGB which isn't specified in the description; if it's the latter then it would be icing on the cake.

The Newegg via eBay listing shows model number 15-fd0013ca which per HP Support [hp.com] is a Core i3-1315U CPU / 8GB RAM / 512GB SSD (sold new at Costco.ca [costco.ca]). The Newegg store shows model number 15-fd0008ca which according to HP Support [hp.com] has Core i5-1135U / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD and sold new at BestBuy.ca [bestbuy.ca]. Let's hope Newegg ships the laptop with specs as listed (or better than listed, a 1TB SSD wouldn't hurt).

The HP product page you have linked is incorrect and is specifically for the model 15-fd0008ca. The correct product page of this series is: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/docu...7737589-16 and it doesn't come with 11th Gen processor as you have stated in your comment.

In the technical details on Amazon, they mention 3.3ghz which corresponds to i3. Their product title and description also don't match up. It puts into question the rest of the specs. The deal is lukewarm at best.

Newegg has had some of the worst refurb's I've ever had. 60 minute battery life, running hot, heavy keyboard wear. Dell outlet refurbs are significantly better.

Conflicts in Ebay and Newegg listing .. makes me pass.
Title in ebay says i5-16GB, in the detail it says i3-8GB. (Newegg Specs says i3-16GB)
If it is i3-8GB I would prefer to buy NEW in Bestbuy/amazon for 399

Also, there is up to 30% restock for buyers remorse returns, plus return shipping fee deducted. Even though the listing states seller pays return shipping. Free return only if defective. With such a terrible listing though, I could claim misinformation. Item not as stated. eBay would get us a full refund for that
