I would stick with the base S21 until the end of the year for and get either s24+ or s24(fe?) on some kind of sale.
That said... If you don't use your camera daily and you don't need more than 3-4 years of updates, this phone is highly recommended especially at this price.

Also, whenever new flagship phones come out, people pretend like every other camera in existence can't take a good photo (including 12R). Good photos come from good photographers. Get gud. The 12R still does fine if you're not gud.
