2. Yes for cancellation to go through and then later on for the bill.
3. Nope, you can also cancell ATT by porting out to another carrier in which case you can keep the number in that carrier.

Asked what happens if I cancel the line - BB rep said that they will charge you full phone price.
Also, asked about the check - the rep said since it's a new account it will be a hard check.
