I purchased this online Fri night, delivery Tues March 5.
I requested a port of a new Google Voice #, google sent me an unlock email but there is a $3 charge. However, I plan to cancel the AT&T service within 3 days so thought it best not to port as I'll probably use a different #?
Or will it not be a problem to port to redpocket by requesting from AT&T after I receive the phone?
PROBLEM: Bestbuy stated phone is UNLOCKED. But when I create my AT&T account it states unlock "eligible" and not already unlocked. However then I get this message:
"We're sorry, but we can't unlock your device just yet. Submit a new unlock request after your service has been active for at least 60 days."
I thought this post would allow you to get the phone for free by canceling within 3 days and being it was already unlocked could immediately be used with another carrier?
3 days after what ? when you bought ? when you receved ? when you activated ? can someone answer pls ?
