I bought five of these the last time they went on sale and they been nothing but pain. 2 out of the five work fine but the remaining 3 keep dropping connections, constantly requiring rebooting. Cameras themselves are fine but the app sucks. Coming from Kasa cameras which I love, these are just horrendous. I have had my Kasa cameras for 7 years and never had any issues but these Tapo ones are another story. Reached out to manufacturer and keep getting same cookie cutter answers to do this and do that which I already did and notified them of. My experience might me different than others but if you get stuck, be prepared to write these off. Hope someone finds my experience helpful in making a decision.

Got one of their pan cameras a month or so ago, been very pleased with it and it was super easy to setup for RTSP to my NAS.

How has the audio been for you through RTSP? I've been using this cam with blue iris and the audio quality is very poor. Wondering if it's just this model, or if there other cameras like the pan model that sound better.

This camera rocks, I have 3 so far. The image quality is top notch. Ai notifications pick me up from 30+ feet and almost immediately.

Only downside is alerts with a text picture are behind a paywall, 3.99. a month cloud subscription. You still get alerts without paying, but you have to watch it back thru the app

Agreed, the audio quality is hot garbage. I can never hear people when talking.

The pan camera I have is better. But the outside one picks up nothing but birds

How's your wifi signal? Mine dropped connection occasionally before I installed a new WiFi booster. Haven't had an issue since. But before it would occasionally disconnect even though it had like 4 bars. Pickup a cheap router from goodwill and use it in repeater mode and it should fix your issue

Yes, RTSP support.
I have a few of these for $20 from Network Giant off amazon when they had coupons. Been looking for a few more. This is close enough plus some cashback from online places so I pulled the trigger.
