I mean maybe they aren't set up to do blade replacements under warranty when improperly used? That doesnt sound unreasonable

The "real source" is $15-20 more expensive? Your math isn't mathing.

I used to be a big fan of Kershaw but their warranty is shit when you try to make a claim.

Last I knew, the Leek and Chive were two of the Kershaw knives that are still made in the US. Some others in this sale appear to be US-made as well, but I'm not as sure.

Both are awesome slicers, and they feel great to fidget with, but both also run into issues of the tip snapping off because they are just so darn pointy. As long as you're using them to slice and not stab/pry/chop, they're a perfect knife. Not the best for something like whittling or hacking at/cleaving through stuff, though.

Also: the Chive is a VERY small knife. That can be a great thing if that's what you're looking for, just make sure you understand how adorably tiny it actually is before you pull the trigger.

Leek is easily my favorite knife. Carried one for years. Make sure the blade is 1660 steel.
This website and Kershaw both say the Leek blade is 14C28N stainless steel .. is there something I'm missing?

You're not missing anything. 1660 is the model number of a leek, not a type of steel.

I was looking at the Knockout and wondering about the steel. Thought it might be high end based on the MSRP. Then I saw the MSRP on all of the knives listed are ridiculous.

I've had my eyes on the Link for some time. Bought my dad one as a gift about 3 years ago and can't believe how much the price has went up. This is perfect for knives that you plan to use. Also picked up a Knockout and Blur. The Link's CPM-20CV steel is more premium and will hold an edge longer but the 14C28N on the Knockout and Blur has a higher toughness for other use cases.

I bought the Chive a couple of years ago and it's perfect for my use, clips on my jeans pocket and I forget it's there until I need it. I think I paid about $15 - it was a Christmas deal if I remember correctly. If I knew someone who would use it I would definitely buy it as a gift.

Same. Love my leek over the more expensive ones I own.

"real source"...all made in China
Huh? A lot of Kershaw's knives are made in China, but I think literally every one in this post is made in USA.

Good deals - Chive $25, Leek $31-37, Blur $45, more.

I bought a "factory second" Dividend a while back and (other than the x'd out serial number) I cannot find a flaw at all. At $57 here, it's $10 cheaper than I paid and I think it's a great deal.
The brand new leek retails for 50 on Amazon though

It wasn't that long ago when these prices were what the original quality/non-seconds Kershaw knives went for.

I ordered the dividend new (not factory second or blemished) and a sticker for about 3 dollars less than this slick deal. I got the sticker because they offered free shipping on orders of $50 or more and the knife was 49.99, and my kid likes stickers on the laptop. Then they added $1.00 for shipping anyway??? Paid for it with a CC because, well, sometimes you don't always get what you pay for.

Just thought I'd mention it because this is slick deals and not pay as much as you can deals.

Edit, forgot it was from generalstorespokane, which I never heard of until I googled the kershaw dividend and started searching for lowest price. Seems like it is some type of acehardware and hunting/camping supply mish mash. Just wanted a backup for my spyderco I've been using for 20 years as an EDC. Can't find the old backup anywhere.
