The 900 has a better bar and sub, but no satellites. It's the same as the Q990C minus the satellites.

Awesome, thanks! I was hoping to find a way to buy just the bar without sub to save some extra cash, but it doesn't seem possible through Samsung. Now I just need to figure out a way to get these Samsung discounts because I'm not eligible for EDU or EPP Frown

If you have any friend or family member with .edu email,you can register with their email to get the EDU pricing.

I'm happy overall. Got it out the door for 617, and then 50 bucks cash back and 30 refund from Samsung because I asked a rep about a discount he couldn't get to apply, so he refunded me 5% of the 605 bar cost ($30) which brings my total otd price 537 for q900c

Super excited for this bar

My couch is against wall, so no point trying to fiddle with the sayalites or would of went 990

I bought the q800c. Rtings shows it a being very comparable to the q900c, and I'm not enough of an audiophile to need the advantages of 7 channels vs 5. The q800c was $357 today over $550 for the q900c.

I bought 1 q800c today for the 357, 380 after tax and 35 dollars cash back site. I did Best Buy pick up and already got it. It sounds great. We have a small living room so it is perfect.

I also ordered the 900c for the larger living room. That came out too 511 after the rebate $50 but it's being shipped, after hearing the 800c I'm super excited for the 900c

You'll like the 800c zero doubts you won't

I was reading google, and they say the 990c is equal or better than their old style receiver set ups. like a lot of people are upgrading or did upgrade to them.

I am excited for ya! I just used Airplay with my phone out of curiosity, oh my goodness! it jams with music too. and as soon as I clicked off the airplay on phone, it went straight back to my gf's tears of kingdom switch instantly.
