Bought it last time it was on sale for $19. It's fine. I'm pretty disappointed with the performance though. I used to have a pistol grip 4V Ryobi that I loved for around the house stuff but it mysteriously disappeared so I picked this up thinking it would be similar. I have it on the highest torque setting and I've had it max out on things I can hand tighten. Recharging it seemed to help a little but it shouldn't have had a dead battery that fast already and I can't hot swap the battery out like I could on the Ryobi.

What, why? Assuming you are not serious... but in case not, this would help for maybe small light install on top? Not sure if this has enough torque for that as well.

Most of the deck stuff is long, thick nails and bolts that require bigger drills and torque drivers and even hammer drills.

Like others said, these are good for jobs where you don't want to strip out screws and don't need too much power. Just used my cordless screwdriver yesterday for putting in door handles and locks and a thermostat.

What u mean lol, I can max out Ryobi 18 on things I can hand tighten. This is not a tool for extreme torque. I feel like you forgot the actually power of your 4v Ryobi or just got a faulty unit.
The larger pistol grip type screwdrivers really (typically, from major brands) do have more torque than the inline style.

This skill is just about quickening the repetitive motion of twisting a regular screwdriver where there is practically zero resistance.

I have used this across my house to install new cabinet/drawer pulls, locks/door lever across the house and changed numerous outlet face plates. it's most go to tool for small stuff around the house. You won't regret either $30 or $20 set. I like the case that comes with $20.
Seriously? It has torque to install cabinets?

Got this... honestly thinking of returning it's not worth it.

My fault for not noticing but the bit doesn't go 90 degree angle making tight spots (which is what I wanted it for) practically useless.

I bought one of these in an earlier sale, and like others have said, it's incredibly weak. The tool has a nice heft to it and feels good in the hand but it seems overmatched by even the simplest tasks. Maybe I expected too much, but I cannot recommend this over some of the off-brand units I have bought in the past, except on build quality.

Home improvement product prices will continue plunging in prices. No home sales, no demand for these products. I recall during Covid housing boom all these are selling like hot cakes. It's all coming to a crashing halt (except SFH prices)
