Can we trade this deal in and instead go back to no commercials on prime video?

Food delivery services are so overpriced nowadays. I signed up for grubhub+ through prime, then Uber one through capital one just for not using it even once. Total order always end up 30% more expensive then picking up yourself.

I signed up for this a few years back and cancelled it within a few weeks. Prices on grubhub and similar sites are sooo incredibly inflated, it just promotes putting a larger dent in your wallet.

It actually used to be fine but then the greed kicked in and places realized they were getting a lot of orders so they would just increase their delivery prices by 15-20%. Its basically for everything now. You can see the online prices compared to if you just went into the store.

Greed Hub. All these food delivery places will really struggle when the deep recession or depression hits sometime this year. My prediction is September.

Wow another GH+ for being a prime member! What a joke. Did Amazon buy Grubgreedy+? I feel like this is an every 6 month roll out. I guess no one wants to pay 40 percent more to get a delivery and then tip on top of it. Decreased fees my A$$! They really need to put a disclaimer on that oh wait you don't know the "fees" if you aren't a GH+ member so there is their go "around" Anyone ever wonder what the "fees" as high as they are with GH+ would be if you weren't GH+?! Or do people see "FREE" and run to it like it's the best thing?! Serious question
Trust me. People don't bother tipping more than $1. In a grubhub driver.

For every $100 I make only $15 come from tips.

As opposed to DoorDash where it's $100 and $50 of that is tips.

For the normal person, I think you're right. But as I was informed by my nephew who couldn't leave the base; having food delivered to him was a huge welcome to get through that training courses he had to take. I assume others with disposable income, like college students, that are either without a car or unwilling to leave their "studies" might find delivery charges acceptable. Especially if they don't have to pay their loans back.
dang I need to go back to college if college students have disposable income.

I was broke as hell.

It's surely better than paying money for Grubhub+ but this service is dying. There are only 4 restaurants in my delivery zone that support it. Meanwhile on DoorDash there are 54. On Grubhub+ none of these restaurants were even open for lunch. Most on DoorDash were.

So I get a service fee for $7, jacked up prices and am a dick if I don't tip?

so that is a cool $15 before I add in the food itself πŸ˜‚

use GH, uber eats and door dash the "slickdeal" way and you'll save.
Telling us we could save more without telling us how. Maybe you could edit this to help instead of just rubbing it in that we don't all know already? My educated guess would be to look for their occasional discount code offers. Is that it, or are there some sweeter loopholes/deals/tips? Feel free to pm me if it is some top secret info. Don't just tease us. worship

Google or use the search function on slickdeals. It's really not that hard and the "slickdeal" way has been explained numerous times in the past. And if you're lazy, then well I can't help you. Here's a hint, look at my post on page 6.

I'd rather Amazon bring back commercial free Prime Video and stop being shitty with people doing legit returns than get this free invitation to pay too much for delivered food. Their CS has gone to hell, which is unfortunate since people are getting record numbers of farked up deliveries.
Also, they should bring back the last version of Amazon Music for Prime members. Less options, but you controlled those options via requests instead of only getting limited skips and maybe, or not hearing your request, and/or similar artists to your requests if you do not pay extra monthly fees.

I had free grubhub+ from Amazon for over 8 month but everytime I try to use it the service fee and markup for menu items scared me away.
