That's what I'm saying. If you test the card and a problem is shown (such as a falsified capacity, a common problem with fakes), Amazon would likely require you to return the card for a refund. Yes, they sometimes give refunds without requiring the item to be returned, but I doubt that would be the case here.

I purchased one of these last time they were on sale (Feb 13) and yep, it was a fake. I would wait for a deal direct from Samsung.

Correct. The issue is that Amazon intermingles their own stock with third-party stock. So, it's the luck of the draw as to whether or not you're getting stock provided by Amazon or stock provided by a third party when the order picker puts your order together, even if you select sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon.

Thanks, I bought one on the last sale. I'll check it out. I've already filled mine with photos from a DJI Mavic 3E and didn't have any issues… so far.

Bought 2 other branded 512 and they both were fake.
I gave up and bought 256 one.

It took me hours to test the 512. Good luck. Just a hassle, but amazon will take it back.
