Free or Low-Cost Costco membership? (Excluding Employers)

I moved to the PNW and I dont know anyone, so paying full price for a Costco membership is silly when I will rarely use it. But sometimes one-off deals happen and I need a way in.
Any reliable tips to get a free or discounted membership?

All my relatives use Sams Club, They dont have a Costco close enough in GA
