I mean you can ask iBuyPower directly. I can see two open RAM slots in the pictures though. You can also pull the sticks out and put new ones in. It's not going to be soldered in or anything like that.

Ya Im pretty sure its not to uncommon to get a 900 dollar 13400 or 7600 system with a 4060 and ddr 5 for the same price, or about.

Its a good deal for the prebuilt but you can build the same pc for $800 at all full price hardware at microcenter.

I think ibuypower is one of those companies that uses standard parts. So upgrading items should be pretty easy.

But as other posters mentioned, I'm not sure how good of a deal this is.

I haven't looked in a while but the 4060 is probably about $300 to $400.

Then the 5700 is the AM4 platform which is old now with AM5 out. It's still good, just not something people recommend if people are buying new or building something from scratch.

I can say it was a pain in the butt trying to find DDR3 RAM when DDR4 was the standard. So those are some of the issues of going with older platforms. I would think DDR4 RAM is still easy to find. But kind of see why people sometimes recommend with going with the newer platforms now.

The top end AM4, 5800x3d is about $280 to $300 these days and what people call the endgame for the AM4 platform and you'd need to get a cooler for it.

I'd think that you could get something better and/or newer for the price of this deal.

How does this compare to the Costco deal? It seems similar.

the 5700 is a trash cpu. It's probably paired with a b450 motherboard so you are stuck on pcie 3.0, which will come to haunt you.

You can build a SUPERIOR 5600/b550/4060/32gb/1tb/600wGold system for about $750, so I don't see how this is a deal at all. Avoid.
