IMO it got better on rewatch. Obviously the big twists and turns won't be as big of a surprise the 2nd go around, but there's still some good writing and character development.

For rewatches, this is a great show to just put on in the background while you cook, do chores, etc. The plot points aren't super important on the rewatch, but you can still catch the jokes and banter.

Sadly no. I believe the only real time it got played was some re-runs in the UK. Every other version of the series has that generic placeholder. Only other way to get the original intro is non-approved means at this point.

Even though you "purchased" the series, is House subject to the same fate as the DIscovery programs Sony deleted? No refund, no apology. You never owned what you "purchased," you only thought you did. It was in the fine print.

I can't recommend this show enough. Best I can describe it is Sherlock Holmes if he was a doctor and it's in a hospital. Team behind this show mentioned that they were inspired by Sherlock Holmes and if you pay attention you will catch some clues. For example, Sherlock Holmes would use Heroin I believe and Dr. House is a pill popper. There are similarities in their addresses, ect. Skip the last season, it lost its magic at that point.
