The game was terrible, irrespective of certain fans' backlash. The game wouldn't get terrible or middling reviews if it wasn't a mediocre game.

I haven't heard good things about the Saints Row remake 🙃 I enjoyed the original series
There was a lot of brigading against the game. I picked it up on Steam Launch and had a blast with it. It very much feels like Saints Row 2 wtih an updated sensibility. The story is light and fun, the cast has character, and the gameplay is solid. As part of a bundle or for a 50% or more discount it's absolutely worth it if you liked any of the more grounded Saints Row's in the past.

I think you are the only one concerned about that. If you aren't willing to do the research, I doubt anyone else will care enough to do it for you.
actually I found a curator on steam doing it, went from 20,000 to 100k followers in days so it appears you were wrong, on BOTH COUNTS EEK!

Anyone interested in Nioh 2, make sure you understand what kind of game you're getting into. It's pretty far from your standard soulslike and you may be get put off by it.

Saints Row is pretty ass. I would recommend this excessively long review video on it. I feel like it does a good job at summing up why the game is ass when judged by its own merit. It can be worth a play for some people, I am playing it, but I would not have paid more than $5 for it. https://youtu.be/_1co9RhqX6I

Damn, I paid $21 for Nioh 2 during the Epic winter sale, haven't even touched it yet.

Might be obvious, but do HB let you know what's they're giving away before charging you each month?

Once you pay the membership, are these games given to you as redeemable steam keys?

I have no idea what that is. Generally avoid any type of game personality, influencers or streamers if it's one of those.

Yes, the game is on their website as one of the ones they helped with, just playing the game will let you know that it wasn't just help, it was complete control of everything except the gameplay, which is also terrible. The studio got shut down for a reason. I would and have avoided it, I didn't even bother with the free version on Epic. You know it's bad when you don't want it for free.
