I felt the need to give my experience with this blower.
I have this model and I live in Florida. This is perfectly good for clearing my grass clippings off the driveway/sidewalk after mowing, as well as some leaves and general outside debris from the driveway/sidewalk as well. It does very well with that.
I don't feel it will be really good up north where you have 1 foot of leaves on the ground over a huge area that you are trying to pile up to get rid of.
I hope that helps some of you figure out if it will work for your use.
This is perfect for blowing dog hair from under the sofa. I consider it good as an aid when dusting. It's no where near powerful enough to blow more than a couple of leaves out of the garage.
I bought this last year and we use it all the time for certain jobs. It is NOT for cleaning up the yard or doing heavy work. It's small and lightweight so perfect for smaller jobs and easy to store.
We use ours for general cleanup and maintenance... blowing off the sidewalks, porches, patios, and patio furniture. This is mostly for normal leaves, bugs, dust falling on those surfaces. Also good to blow off fresh grass clippings from those surfaces after cutting the grass. I also use it to blow out (clean) the garage floor - much quicker / simpler than using a big broom sweep it.

If they are dry maybe. The reality? If you're going through the hassle of cleaning the gutters then get a real blower so you're not needlessly frustrated.
I have a Ridgid job site blower and it is great if you KNOW what to expect. It is lightweight with a good warranty. The best way to think of them are electric brooms. For heavy yard waste you would never want to use a broom... wet leaves, forget it, etc.
I have another blower when powerful force is needed, but I still keep the ridgid handy when, for example I want to dry blow leaves off the porch.
The best part of ridgid is the warranty although I've never had to use it for tools.

Thanks for the info. I checked out the warranty[ridgid.com] and it's definitely a great selling point.

That warranty is for other Ridgid products. Cordless power tools come with a 3-year warranty and then the Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) kicks in if it was properly registered.

Great price if you want this type of blower. Just be aware this is NOT a leaf blower/for yardwork. You'll be disappointed

Want to blow out your garage floor? Pretty good
Want to blow out a shed? Very good
Need to clear some light dry debris off a patio or deck? Gotcha covered
Blow off equipment that's been getting dusty? Great
If the task involves light dry debris in a space that you don't need a hurricane, it's a great tool.
