I got the same error and figured out how to get around it. Don't use the links above. Login to Metro with your phone line and PIN. Then, go to Phones & devices >> Tablets & devices. I was then able to select the Samsung tablet and added a line and paid $20. Hope this helps you out.

It did not work for me. It said, I could not add a new line.

Can I only continue pay for phone line and not this tablet? i.e.I have a phone line for $40 would continue for another 3 months until it is unlocked and do not want to pay for this tablet. Is it possible?
For the phone you only need to pay $40 the first month, it will unlock automatically 180 days later. You only need to pay 20bfor the tablet the first month and can stop the service too. But we are not sure about unlocking of the tablets.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is now getting the Android 14 update. If you don't get the prompt, you can manually install the update with Odin.
It has a fairly good 4G LTE modem but lacks Sub-6GHz 5G which is what T-Mobile has been heavily investing into.
Do you mean missing 4G/LTE missing band( B71 , B41 )? This does not claim to have any 5G right?
https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-...a7-lite-4g.

But the specs on Metro say both the Samsung and TCL have B41 and B71 . Hmm.. So maybe the versions sold by Metro/Tmobile have all the LTE bands Tmobile uses ? Makes sense actually. Why would they sell a version that doesn't use their main bands?

You can try to order through chat, just tell them it didn't work. I got the same error multiple times although the payment went through every time. I tried live chat, and the REP ordered it for me. I had to give him my credit card information through chat though which I kind of don't really like that.
Idiot Metro By T-Mobile did 7 charges and then 7 credits on my Double Cash card when I tried ordering on the website.

Trying chat did not work.

The agent wasn't able to get the order through.

She was getting the error message "Order authorization has failed due to Customer Protection Review. Transaction cannot be processed and will be aborted. "

Awesome sauce...I got a second Moto G Stylus this month (other one due to unlock in about 45 days) so I have an active line. Logged in and got this tablet deal.

Your order is estimated to arrive 3/8/2024

Nice! I'll have to see if this deal works tomorrow. I just got the Metro Moto Stylus 5G 2023. I already had the 2022.

Thanks, the reason I am keeping metro phone line active is, it is the only phone I have. The rep told me, once I receive the tablet after 30days I can separate the lines and continue to pay the phone line. Not 100% sure on that and may not be worth taking that chance for a $100 device Smilie

For those of us who are also "new customers" doing the free phone deal (from the other thread), are we allowed this deal after we activated our phone?
I ordered the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G for my mom as a new customer two days ago. Total was $65.
Phone was free.
The $65 was for the1 month service with unlimited data + calls + texts, and was needed to get the phone for free.
Phone is still locked on Metro for 5 more months.
Before the 1st month ends, I can switch to the $30 plan with autopay OR my mom can just use the phone purely on wifi for 5 months with no data. Once it is unlocked, she can switch to a cheaper carrier like Tello or that 3 month $15 plan slickdeal for Lycamobile.

This deal popped up today, same day the phone was delivered.
I activated the phone, got the new phone number, logged in using the sent SMS, and then ordered this deal's tablet for $20.

TLDR:
For $85, I got
1 pc Samsung Galaxy A15 5G (6 Months network locked on Metro by tmobile)
1 pc Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite (Are tablets also network locked? Probably)
1 month Metro by tmobile service (unli data, call, text)
1 month Tablet Unlimited SD Video 2 GB Hotspot

I just ordered a Samsung tablet for $20 (adding a new line). It is not a game-changer tablet, but good enough for reading or minor stuff on Wi-Fi. It will be Wi-Fi device forever.
.
You don't get much for $20 in such inflation.

I got the same error and I signed in again from the same page and finally I was able to order the tablet. You may need to sign in and try again.

Not to be picky, but both tables are very close to e-waste nowadays. The processor in them are only capable of YouTube and light web browsing only, don't expect any smooth experience.
