The brown wooden ones don't last long when placed outside. The wood deteriorates in the weather. I recommend getting the other colors.

I have the brown ones ( I think acacia but not sure) on my balcony for the last 6 years. They are still solid, it's just the color that fades (direct sun for 5 hours a day). I'd imagine if I maintained them with some sort of UV protection or refinished them, they'd be very pretty still. I got them for free from a dumpster but I'd recommend them at this price. I'm considering buying a new set for a refresh but I kind of like the weathered look. Here's a current photo https://imgur.com/a/Nvlfltb

What do you mean by deteriorates? Do you mean greys or fades? ...or rots/disintegrates? if it's the latter, that's no bueno, because these things are not cheap even at this current discounted price of $3.33/sf. When you spend that kind of money on flooring related stuff you expect it to last at least a decade.

They're coy about the actual acacia species used in these, so it's hard to really get an idea of how they might weather vs a normal deck without real world experience with them.

What do you mean by deteriorates? You just have to restain them periodically, you can put a sealer on them if you want as well

Just make sure you remove them and clean underneath/de moss every now and again. I'm in the PNW and these things get real gross if you don't do some upkeep

We have had the grey composite ones on our concrete patio out back for two years now. Slightly warped but otherwise holding up well.

I saw these when at Ikea on Wednesday. The wooden ones look sharp but I have a history with the same wooden outdoor chair and bistro table. They are terrible looking without the sealer. The "composite" ones are really plastic and look cheap even at this sale price. Depending on your application, the composite might be better than what you're covering up and the wooden ones might not be worth the upkeep needed before they look as bad as what you're covering up.
