So I went ahead and opened mine that had the cut layer of tape underneath on both top and bottom edges of the box that made it look like it had been opened before. Thankfully the watch was inside and not some rocks.

I completely agree
Hence why we are all taking about $120 watch, and not the original price of $300+. Furthermore, I don't buy electronics for resale value... That's what stocks and real estate are for. Electronics are to enjoy, act as a tool, or improve quality of life. People use the word 'invest' way too often when referring to purchase. TV is not an investment, nor is a watch. Not in monetary terms

My gray non LTE arrived today from Samsung. It replaced watch4 classic. Even though noticeably bigger it's just as comfortable and it looks really good in person. I thought that lack of rotating bezel would bother me more, but so far it's been fine. I restored a backup of my watch4 and had it running in no time. There was one system update available. When I tried to apply it via phone app it would download to the phone but hang and not transfer to the watch. I disconnected Bluetooth and downloaded the update directly to the watch via wifi. It installed without an issue. Great deal on a great watch!

Happened to me too. I doubled up on my order by changing the amount in cart from 1 to 2 and placed the order. Says I'll receive both this Weds.

I got my Grey non late today. I used my rewards points and 50$ pre order coupon which came out to be 55$. I don't like the white/black band on the Grey watch. Now need to shop bands on amazon.

Got my watch mfg date of 10/30/2023. It was completely drained of power so who knows if that already degraded the battery life of the watch from day 1.

Got the titanium color which looks pretty classy. Got a black one coming also and will decide to keep one.

Where do you see the mfg date? Mine is a Bluetooth version and I don't a mfg date.

Got this up and running the other day, but the app is constantly draining battery and the manager keeps popping up briefly and randomly on my phone. Does this happen for anyone else? Not using a Samsung phone fwiw

Did anyone get a watch6 with a M/L band using the discount? Seems like the Watch6, comes with S/M band. Changing the band adds $70

How much did you pay for it? The watch with sport black and grey band? $120+$40?

I've had many BLE fitness bands previously that never showed the bluetooth connected icon on the status bar, but the Galaxy Watch seems to do so. Do others see the same thing?

What's weird is I don't recall seeing it at first, but after playing with the watch and changing some settings, I started noticing it. I did a quick search online and others complain about the same thing and said that disabling taking calls on the watch by deselecting the calls toggle for the watch from the phone's BT connections settings makes it go away, but it didn't work for me.

Since the icon is always connected now, I can't tell when my audio headset is connected or not by just looking quickly for the icon. I think this also implies that there's a BT audio connection always running from the watch to the phone rather than just a BLE connection, which might be adding unnecessary battery drain to both the watch and phone. I don't need to take calls from the watch and mostly use it for notifications and fitness tracking and so would like to disable BT audio and get rid of the connection icon. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Given the tighter integration that WearOS has with android, I'm not surprised that the BT connection is the full bandwidth type rather than BLE given the amount of information passed back and forth. I think the watch has camera triggering with preview as well. Try disabling that.
