A kit with batteries could be better than buying batteries individually. But if one has enough batteries and needs a drill it is a great deal.

I got this or a similar model for just over $100 from Amazon a few months back. So no ymmv needed. Yes this deal technically saves you almost $100 of retail but I've been buying from Amazon lately just to save money and hastle.
