Izod like many other older brands that you remember are just names now licenced to other companies to place on their products to give an impression of value.
Basically a company can pay a licensing fee to legally place the brand name on their products.
This is why you are seeing these types of brands at Walmart and other discount stores these days.

If you go to one of the new "upscale" Walmarts, they have some brand displays set up, like a department store. I have one about 20 minutes away. I noticed they had Izod and Chaps. It has some nicer name brand products, is noticeably cleaner, is more organized, and is better staffed. I was looking to checkout and a young cashier called to me and said "sir, I am available if you are ready to checkout". It was quite shocking.

Incorrect. This item IS sold by and shipped from Walmart.com. May not be available at stores, but it is Walmart's umbrella. They do sell things (like Amazon does) through 3rd party sellers, but not this one. Like Costco, some things are only available from their website, or only from a warehouse/store. Also of note: WM does not price match their website. Neither does Walgreens. I believe Costco stores will if sold online and in store. But rarely cheaper online.
