Have seen this price in two different states though it appears many stores are still at full price.

In store only so item link for reference only: https://www.homedepot.com/p/326387631

I like the price, but I really wish RIDGID would advertise and maybe things it makes would have a chance.

Thanks for posting. That is a great price but I don't see it that low for the two states that I frequent. I do get their product advertisement email on a 1-3 basis weekly. I'm not sure what I did to receive those emails.

Yeah from Brickseek it seems that stores very close the clearance stores are still full price, so not sure if it will keep spreading or how it works.

I'll look for the advertisement email, though it seems like a neglected brand. I am a big fan of the quality of most of its tools and the LSA so I plan to stick with RIDGID, but hope Home Depot continues with it. This nailer was new in 2023, seems strange to clearance it this low (not that I know anything about retail (or anything else for that matter)).

This price is the only reason I have it. Saw it go to $190 and $160 but managed to pass. At this price, easy to add even though already have the pneumatic version. 23-guage is great for the right situations.

All I ever see there is either the dollar amount of the regular price or the word "Clearance" in the price column but no detail on what that clearance is.

Hopefully, someone can tell us where they may actually see this on clearance.

In so cal my store marks this on "clearance" but the price is the same! How is this possible - does clearance pricing take a while to propagate was an item is designated clearance? I thought it was always simultaneous

GA and KY, though based on Brickseek many stores in both are also still regular price.

I would have expected it to be instantaneous too.

From what I've seen, whomever handles clearance items for that store needs to adjust it in the system. There was a deal on here last month for a Ryobi miter saw on clearance for $108. My store was marked clearance on Brickseek but it rang up full price at the register. Flash forward a week or two, and then I noticed the clearance tags on the aisle next to the item. So even though that item was marked clearance on Brickseek, a worker needed to change the store price for it truly be clearance. Hopefully this was helpful, I would go back next week and check again. Good luck

Thanks for the data point. That makes sense.
One other question - using the automated store specific price checker (accessed by saying "price check" or something similar to the automated Home Depot voice that greets you when you call the store, and then entering the internet number with the phone keypad) — seems to be hit or miss. I tested it on items I know are marked down and in store, and it most of the time gives me the wrong, non-marked down price. However, some times the automated price checker is accurate, but less so than when it is not accurate.

Does anybody know how the automated price checker works and why sometimes it is accurate for clearance prices and sometimes it is not? I have yet to find the pattern… it sure would save a lot of time
