"A factory?" Which factory (singular) makes both of those brands? And make sure to reference how know both of those brands are made in said factory.

BTW, even if they are made in the same factory it doesn't mean both are made on the same assembly line, by the same tooling, or even using the same metal. A vast majority of factories have good, better, best lines. So just being made in the same huge metal building doesn't mean they are equal (doesn't mean they aren't either). Point is...you have no idea.

Hardly, HF also have a lifetime warranty, no questions or receipt asked they'll give you a new set. They are made out of the same metal. Try returning the Performance Tool after the 30 amazon return window expires.

Performance Tool is roughly equivalent to store brands at your larger retailers. They are often sold in lieu of store brands at retailers that don't have tools made under their own private labels. If one wants cheap punches, they are better off going to Harbor Freight or a retailer with a store brand that has a lifetime warranty, so that when they break a punch they can run it back the store for replacement. When you break a Performance Tool punch you will have to send it back to Tukwila, WA for replacement, and prepay the postage for the replacement punch. No one is going to do that.

Agree IF you want cheap punches, HF or similar brands may be preferred. IF you want better quality, Performance has been an established mid tier brand for a century, definitely better quality than HF.

Any retailer or dealer that sells Performance will do a warranty exchanges, it's not a problem to get warranty service.
