Isn't this the standard price for the digital edition? If you want digital, great, but if you buy this and then buy the disc addon it would come out to more than the normal PS5 cost.

No, they bumped the slim vanilla digital up to $450.

But $450 for the disc edition with spiderman 2 is the better deal.

Considering the non digital is just $50 more with spiderman 2, it seems like a no-brainer to get that.

yeah I didn't realize this was the digital only one. hard pass. once sony is the only console manufacturer, say good bye to cheap games

All of the negative "likes" should read what ps5 bandwidth currently is capped at 32gbps so the pro will undoubtedly increase the bandwidth and that will probably be the only major difference. Exactly and you don't need a massive hard drive for your games. I don't understand the popularity of digital consoles. Sure you save a few bucks but you need to upgrade the hard drive especially the way technology is going and the storage for games now.

Discs might not save you from HDD capacity issues since they may install most/all of the data to improve loading times. (But I still would never buy a no-disc console since I want to be able to buy and play my legacy collection and used games).
