Was at Costco yesterday and saw this priced at $19.99. Took a pic of it and came to checkout and asked clerk to price check to make sure the price was not a mistake and was delighted at the price. Bought one. Will post pic of the price if I can. (can't see option in app right now)
(apologies. The pic of price is blurry but it tells you the model # and price and I wasn't hallucinating!)

but yeah. we all agree. its the new slickdeals standard. even the supermod. they ignored the facts. kept the post alive to collect more clicks. the most recent example is the gamestop mario + rabit gold switch game. we got like 20+ posts said the deal was dead. going across the next day. meanwhile. that "supper staff" Discombobulated still kept the deal going for almost a day later. despited how many members like us alerted him that the deal was dead. i myself have helped cleaning this community alot by submitting the expired deal requests
but they are still tone def.
my theory is more on the work ethic though. they are either not in front of their desk. not doing their job. or its the new slickdeals guidelines. keep it for another day to collect more clicks. more views. more money.
To renew vehicle warranty, lower mortgage, send bail money to a relative you didn't know existed... Pay to release packages from US border patrol... And the list goes on.
I'm in the northeast and Virginia is 5 hours away. I don't know if he was seeing any west coast locations on his screen.
Neither my closest warehouse nor Costco Business Center had any in stock at all, at any price.
Where can we buy the low capacity nimh batteries for your Panasonic phones? We can't use those high cap NIMH batteries from Amazon for our Panasonic phones?
If the batteries supplied with the phones really have a lower capacity rating that's probably just due to cost cutting by the manufacturer. There's no problem with upgrading them.

Thanks. That made sense. It is not like we're putting a Tesla battery into our Panasonic phones and causing a fire hazard. 😂
Agree that it is just a cost-cutting move... like the tires that come on new cars and toners that come with laser printers.

So what's the item number for this Panasonic phone?
Set cellphone in one location where it gets best reception, use cordless around house, in yard...no running to where the cellphone is to answer a call if a cordlesss is basically in every room. Especially useful when cellphone has low battery. Speakerphone mode is typically better than the cell phone one. You can have your own "answering machine" message and recording if you prefer over service voicemail. Various other uses.
Item # is 19099595. You can clicked on the link from the op, and it will provided you with the item #.
2. Quickly call to find your cell phone.
3. Calling customer service lines and waiting on hold. Does not tie up your main cell phone.
4. Intercom is handy. Especially in homes with multiple floors.

I think Google Voice + Obi is dead going forward. There are other VOIP devices/services (e.g., Ooma), but they may have monthly fees.
Im.still using mine when was it supposed to "die".
