These posts are always misleading.

Outbound to Bali from NYC starts at about $1400 for July - BUT you cannot return from Bali during July! (blackout period) I presume you'd have to pay a way higher return fare - probably making this over $2000 roundtrip.

i posted 2 screenshots to show flights as advertised seat allotment are limited so it's always based on space availability. like a first come, first serve basis.

Nonstop is 14hrs and 30min roughly from San Fran to Singapore. So either you have no concept of time, or you had a stop somewhere and forgot it 😂
What are you talking about dude? Here is the flight I took. 17 hours 44m

And here is the averages

You need to try something called Google before talking loud.

Singapore economy lite seem to include 2 checked in luggage and seat selection at additional $15... am I missing something here?
I just booked and my seat selection was $19. So it depends on the destinations. i did LAX-NRT.

You may be thinking about the return flight, the flight from Singapore to San Francisco is usually 14-15 hours.

However, the flight from San Francisco to Singapore is typically 16-17 hours

Better hope the ground crew strikes are over before your trips. Frankfurt was closed for a few days due to the strikes. Negotiations are still ongoing.

Huh, that's interesting. Mine was LAX-NRT as well... Not sure if date dependent. I'm looking in November.

I have seen multiple deals for LAX to Japan/Singapore/Taiwan/etc but never a NYC deal to those destinations...
Extra fuel, and also less competition since ziapir doesn't fly there

Jetstream going west in the Pacific makes the "same flight" 3 hours longer, just look it up...

Even though their webpages list those prices in the landing page table, the actual prices vary quite a bit based on dates and are substantially high for July departures/Aug returns. Out of SFO, other international carriers provide lower fares than Singapore Airlines

Nothing from the New York and Washington D.C. area airports to NRT for less than $1500. I tried a few lengths and dates. Of course I used Google's Flight tool. Do I need to use the singaporeair.com date grid? It's not smooth for me. "the page "https://www.singaporeair.com/flig...ight.form" because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again"

But thank you for the deal alert.
ZipAir flies out of a few West Coast cities, and it's very inexpensive. get a cheap flight to LAX, SJC, SFO or YVR. They are owned by Japan, airlines, and they are a very nice airline, their difference is, you pay for everything extra. don't let that throw you off, the flights are still much cheaper this way. The planes are very new, and they even have heated bidets in sum of the restrooms. I just flew them to Japan before Christmas, and it was wonderful! Very reasonable flat seats if you decide to pay extra. https://www.zipair.net/en/
