The pics do not do the Single barrel stain justice. It looks great in person. I have the Sand colored from Xmas 2 years ago and this was the one I wished was on sale then. All worked out as I picked up the Hollowbody in that finish last week.

Thanks. I did see that this is the appropriate case for the guitar in my research, but I was hoping to find a cheaper one. It's just hard to justify paying so much for a case for such a cheap guitar. If I were more experienced and planned to take the guitar places often, I'd probably do it. I guess I'll just keep it on a stand for the time being and try to get better. Bummer that this guitar didn't fit in my strat case.

I had the same issue, and ended up going with a cheaper gator case polyfoam Les Paul style case. It's not as protective as a hard case, but as long as you're not throwing it around it should work just fine.

It is a pretty tight fit, but I was able to push some of the foam in to get it to fit better. It's a nice case, and the extra storage on the outside has come in handy.

Thanks OP. Got this one and totally agree with a previous post. The pictures don't give credit to how good this guitar looks in person.

Newbie question. Can this guitar be played without an amplifier? If that's not possible what's a decent, cheap and portable amp to go with it ?

Can anyone recommend a good case for this?
I've ordered this case (https://www.adorama.com/haegb1.html )
which is reasonably priced. Hope it can fit the guitar well

Mine came with two finish flaws. Also the wood reminded me of an 80s stereo cabinet and not in a good way. I returned

Just following up—I got one of these and really like it. The woodgrain on mine is a bit…uneven? The particular slab has a big dark stripe. I don't know that there is such a thing as A and B stock; natural wood is naturally random, but if I were ranking best to worst looking wood patterns this wouldn't be the highest ranked. Still, it's mine and I'm happy with it. The color and finish itself is great.
