Which is no different than virtually every other site. And it's reasonable.

$35+ is free shipping. Amazon and Walmart are the same in that regard. B&H photo is $49+. Some other places are $100+. Shipping costs money, even for the volume they do.

Throw in a large pack of toilet paper or paper towels. Saves you the trip for a bulky item, and you get the same price as in-store. Or cereal, that's $5/box anymore. Look for routine consumables you always get, and keep them on standby as filler items.

So, I use little fans like these whenever I need to dry out something small that I've washed or got wet -- let's say a pair of sandals.

I don't need a hurricane's worth of wind, but having a gentle amount of airflow will help significantly. And being USB powered, I can plug them into a portable USB battery. No running extensions cords, no large bulky fans turned down to low (aka gentle hurricane), and the best of which -- they're inexpensive.

You're not cooling an entire room with these. But for tabletop/desk use, they're excellent at what they do -- especially for the cost.

Oh man thanks. Do you know how hard it is to find these in winter months? I needed one for an ice shack and in December they were silly expensive like $15+.

I bought some on Ali express various Chinese ones. They are terrible, why? Because they have a button controller so anytime you lose power for a second you have to turn back on. Every.Single.Time. Also these Chinese ones will shut off any time a usb battery pack gets a tiny bit low. The ones in the link have a simple on/off switch. Or maybe off high and low. But they come back on after a power blip. This is super important if your trying to keep something cool. I use it for ebike power supplies to keep them cool.

These are solid little fans. I have tons of them stocked just in case of a power outage (long term) in the summer months.

Wanted to keep my laptop cool when under heavy load. Can anyone comment on how loud this is? In comparison to a screaming laptop fan?

Is this one any better than the ones routinely at the dollar tree?

Good points. Thanks. I'll put a couple in the cart and let them simmer. If the stay a while, bingo! In the meantime, I may get a WAY overpriced Koonie [amazon.com] fan! LOL! Kool my Koonie!

These also make very decent white noise / sleep assist machines for those who may be so inclined. Just sayin'.

Does this require a specific amount of power over USB? Or does a more powerful wall adapter make it go faster?

Get a 120mm computer cooling fan on amz instead. Just add a USB power adapter and you're good to go. Brushless and quiet

That has nothing whatsoever do do with the question that was asked....
q: "how does this product work?"
a: "purchase a completely different product!"
Confused

A more powerful wall adapter should not make a difference, even a minimal USB feed will likely make this hit its max speed. Maybe if you tried to power several off of one port with a splitter you probably won't get full speed.
