$7.35 on Amazon, but reviews seem poor.

get the govee ones. Saved me from a complete basement flooding. It emails you and notifies via app.

I second the Govee recommendation. I've had them in my house for several years now. They just sit there and do what they were paid to do. I haven't had to update their firmware. They haven't needed a battery change. I haven't heard a peep from them unless there is an actual water issue.

I have had Govee for a couple of years and seem to do well for me.

I'm not sure about the current price. It is best to add them to your notifications list and grab them when a good price shows up. The included gateway will handle up to 10 sensors. They also go on sale at the GOVEE website. There are several purchase options. Just use the name on the link I provided and search for more.

Does it require a gateway in order to work? Thank you.

I am using the Aqara ones, they have been solid. Only uses one coin cell battery and lasts a LONG time on that one battery. If you already have a hub, it integrate with that and Apple Homekit.

This is wifi based, so it may consume more power and have connection issue. I got some Zwave ones from Lowes several years ago on clearance at around the same price.
