I have them up in my kids' two rooms. They blow. One keeps disconnecting from Alexa and the process to get Alexa to recognize the string again is a PITA, so my daughter just uses her iPad now…which means she hardly ever changes the color or turns them off because it's a hassle to go into the app when you just want to leave your room. In my boys' room, we haven't had the same problem with Alexa, but now there are colors that just won't work…and it makes no sense. Can't get it to produce red, but it can produce purple (presumably blue + red), for instance. One strand is 5 month old, the other is just over a year. I'm so annoyed with these lights.
Anyone have under office desk lighting they recommend?

So what is a better alternative that is not spaced apart so much?
I can't do RGB strips without warm white. Kind of defeats the purpose for me. I don't need my room to look blue all the time.

Great for a kids room. I got the Alexa integrated one that had white for ours. They are hidden behind crown in our tray/raised ceiling. They work well for simple ambient light when watching TV or reading
