Thanks OP. Final price was $293.09. No clue if this is even a good price, but I've got a bunch of trees in my yard that need to be trimmed up, so I jumped on it.

It's $449 at Homedepot so this is a good price. I would bite if I have more use for it but I can get by with my 100VV Sun Joe 10" Pole Saw and the 16" Ego chainsaw I got in the recent deal.

This is a far better chainsaw than ego's brand ego uses cheap nylon bushings also their customer service has gone way downhill it's like an act of God to get a battery replacement I have quit using ego equipment because they have gone the way of cheap and manufacturing there batteries with the cheaper cells the older batteries had better cells but the company decided to make profit over performance

For those on the EGO platform and willing to wait a month for shipping, Amazon has the EGO PS1001 with battery for $299 ( 399 normal) price.

I strongly considered adding Milwaukee to my existing tool lineup because of the pole saw price. After seeing the EGO price I bought that instead. The EGO may have less cuts per charge but I liked the telescoping pole option. I get up im my large oak trees to drop high limbs from above or extending out. Being able to adjust the pole length on tbe fly is going to be extremly useful and safer. I can wait a month or so. Im im no rush. Great deal for Milwawkee oqners though.
