Blend Jet 2 has been recalled in December 2022. Now, there is no one sale except the company. Make sure it has been refurbished with a new blade and new base (the old one can cause fire 🔥 and explosion).

Good price. Got the 12 oz last time for around the same. I like that these are quiet but they are super weak and the battery is wonky and hold is inconsistent. This thing can barely make a small banana shake with milk so that's the extent of its strength. Protein shakes should be a breeze.

That was for specific serial numbers and it's definitely for sale in all the places it was before? A quick Google will show all the target/kohls/jc penny inventory. The recall should be a consideration but that's just flat out untrue.

If you do purchase this device (and I have 4 of them, they are great to have around!), I would strongly recommend checking this link to lookup your serial number soon after purcahse. [blendjet.com]

If your device has been recalled, BlendJet will request a photo of the base with the O ring cut into three pieces, and will then send you a replacement base free of charge.

My Blend Jet's blade broke off while blending. Thankfully at the time I poured into a glass before drinking and saw the blade floating on top of my smoothie Mad
I imagine I was one of the first this happened to (am I a recall pioneer?) because they were pretty surprised that it happened and asked for pictures and videos before they replaced it. Their replacement lasted a few weeks before it stopped working altogether....

Needless to say I've moved onto the Ninja Blast blender and am happy to be alive.

Nice story which means, this isn't meant to chop ice, just blend. Mine works great for travel! Good orice, just buy it for mobile shakes!

He didn't say if he was blending ice or what he was blending other than it was a smoothie. That being said I agree the only thing these are good for is mixing drink powder with liquid. I think this is a fair price for that functionality. Anything frozen or mildly difficult to blend will cause the Blendjet to freeze up. Even filling the Blendjet up slightly above the fill line with easy to blend ingredients like a banana with milk may cause it to freeze up.

I chop ice in my smoothies with it all the time. Works great. The 1 was bad for the, 2 is fine.

I never even received the replacement I was supposed to get for my recalled blendjet. The order was placed 12/28/23. Not impressed with this company.
