s&s 15% as low as $7.54 for over 2 pounds of beans!

imho if you drink your coffee black, i'd get house
if you "dilute" your coffee with milk, then get bold.

I had Bold last time it sold this low, and was pleasantly surprised - at least as good as Lavazza (of beans claiming similar flavor notes) at half the price. I had been tracking the House for price break, so I ordered one and thought I'd share this hidden nugget with SD. This newer line is NOT like other Amazon stripe bag coffees, so before you flame - check the packaging of what you may have tried in the past. when I got my Bold bag late 2023 it had over a year left on it, so this is probably a quarterly overstock sale, not some near expired blowout.

The regular price doesn't seem bad either. How are these beans for a not pickt coffee person?

I drink a 2 lb bag in about 2 months. So the expiration date thing is less of a concern to me but I use a super automatic so it has to be not really I want them to be as good tasting as lavazza.

they can put whatever expiration date they want on it, but coffee should ideally be consumed within a few months at most after roasting

sometimes you can find organic whole beans on amazon for $4/pound. cameron's coffee sells 4-pound bags that go on sale sometimes and last time I paid $16 with a coupon. woods & water blend is what i got last time, not bad

if you can still cancel your italiano, i strongly recommend you get this Bold.
italiano is a fruit & spice disaster of a blend, this Bold is a wonderful mocha.
Naw just get both

In for a bag of Bold. I appreciate that on the bag it says, "oil surface: Low". I have Lavazza on S&S, but I'd be happy to swap it out for this if it's close.

Costco's own brand sells about $10 for 2lb, which appears to be a better value

most of what costco sells are starbucks dark beans.
i don't consider them a good value, just trash beans.

I got in on that deal too. I finally tried them a couple weeks ago and it was terrible. It tasted stale or something. I ended up calling Amazon and they refunded my money so I tossed the rest of it out. I hated throwing away that much coffee, but oh well. Thinking of trying this deal.

$10 for 2lbs is better value than $8.87 for 2.2lbs?
