unlock policy sucks: "If you've bought a new iPhone from Red Pocket Mobile, it must have twelve (12) months of continuous, paid active service on a single line with Red Pocket Mobile."
When they first started the deal on 2/29, they have the $200 off now and $200 rebate for iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 as well. iPhone 13 was $229 after rebate and iPhone 14 was $329 after rebate, but they change it shortly after to iPhone 14 Pro Max, 14 pro, 14 plus, 12 pro max, and 12 pro only.
Lame unlock policy of 12 months and cannot even use second sim for your work or other line unless put another Redpocket esim. Makes no sense to have dual sim phone if both are locked. Pass.

Yeah, but you have to wait a full 12 months to get Red Pocket to even unlock the phone. So, unless you feel you can wait that long, sorry not a good deal. Atleast, it's not for me.
BEWARE, regardless if it's sim-unlocked... if you ever activate another sim/esim (even if it's just another RP line) in that phone you WILL be denied the extra $200 rebate. I learned it the hard way.
Please do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Red Pocket Mobile as possible. I spent 10 hours that I would never get back, and could not buy the phone from their website. Their payment processing system is garbage. I used 10 different credit cards from 5 different major US banks, and all of them were declined. They kept saying my cards do not have 3D Secure enabled on them, which is a complete BS as all of the banks confirmed it is enabled on the cards. Do not waste your time. A wasted day is not worth the rebate that they offer.
Red Pocket seems to be poorly run at this point. When I first got it, probably 8 years ago, it was great and I recommended it to others. But over the last 5 years I keep hearing issues every time someone posts a deal. I was thinking of going back to them, and ported two lines in. Then I realized it was cheaper to go to US Mobile for one of the lines. I tried, and US Mobile was not able to get my number. After hours of back and forth, and a couple of days later, the rep at Red Pocket said it's because the airtime is expired that it cannot be ported. So I ended up getting another month to wait. Cancelled the port over at US Mobile.
Now I'm trying to port out again to join my wife on xfinity, and am having troubles porting out again. Tried before my airtime was expired, and 6 days later I still can't port out. I've done conference calls between the two carriers and nobody can figure out the problem. When I call Red Pocket, one rep can get all sorts of data on the port, another says they can only see certain info, and the next says they can's see anything, that all that would be with the new provider. When I press, they finally come back with more information. I'm on hold now trying to sort this out, I've probably wasted 9+ hours trying to get my own number back.
With Red Pocket ATT service on an unlocked iPhone purchased straight from the Apple store, we constantly lost internet altogether and would have to restart the phone or call to get it fixed, as well as loss of ability to use it as a hotspot. We would also lose the ability to do iMessage. That happened over the course of two years of service. That's what made me decide to take that line to xfinity. I thought it would be ok to put my android on Red Pocket ATT since I never had any issues with service. But yeah, this is crazy that we can't resolve a port out.

Did you not click on and order it under the unlocked selection choice? How do you know it's unlocked?
