You can do that with a $12 Amazon one.
Just because project farm recommended it the first time doesn't mean it's gonna be everyone's cup of tea.
The Milwaukee, Hercules scored "higher" on the most recent episode. I'm leaning towards returning this and getting the Milwaukee brushed because of the variable trigger, familiar ergo and the fact I already have m12 batteries.
Thanks for the feedback. I have the Arrma Granite BLX 3S deal delivering this week so working on RC cars is a good excuse to buy this. What bits do you use for RC maintenance?
Didn't know that, good to know!
That's exactly what I was thinking but I find it strange since the Metabo came out pretty bad, even versus cheaper than $50 options like the Vastar he mentioned.
My personal takeaway from the video is to just not bother with one. I'd rather get a small pen one if I were to get a screwdriver since it's compact, something that makes it uniquely good for a specific use case. If I want a good screwdriver, rather spend to get a quality impact driver or drill. Or the Milwaukee $50 tool only one on sale if you already have Milwaukee stuff.
I got the milwaukee which looks like its discontinued (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012BA1M8/) back in 2009 for $50 and it's one of the best screwdriver ever! still going strong!
similar ergonomics and I have had no problems using it, in fact I like it better than the trigger being below.

I have one other battery based screwdriver that was one of those holiday specials that has a really thin form factor but very little torque - I use it so little that I need to charge it before use. For pretty much all other purposes, if this does not handle the job, a 12v impact driver is not overkill.
Exactly I rather use my m12 impact the size is almost the same, I don't get the point of a cordless screwdriver if it's almost the size of an impact… it's confused if it wants to be an impact or a screwdriver. Less power is the sacrifice for more convenient size though
