I really miss the multiplayer from this game. Could never get into the Doome Eternal 2v1 crap. Great game!

Probably Doom 2016. I'm playing eternal now but the puzzles, platforming, and lack of ammo is frustrating compared to 2016.

Wiki says the DooM: Eternal Deluxe Edition has both DLCs. From GMG, it'll be cheaper to just buy the deluxe edition instead of Eternal and the two DLCs.

I really liked Doom:Eternal, but had a harder time getting into Doom (2016). Doom:Eternal has a bit of a learning curve, but eventually you just feel awesome using all the mechanics together.

I was pretty young when the earlier Doom games came out, but I find them to not hold up too well today. It's a bit unfair since they're so old; it's like talking about silent films and comparing them to movies made today.

Doom 2016 is the best in my opinion. I feel like they overdid a lot of things with Eternal, like the shoulder flame thrower thing. Doom 2016 was a breath of fresh air with all the tactical shooters at the time.

Doom Eternal is also good! Just not for the multiplayer.

Wow, never really occurred to me but you are 100% right. Doom 3 isn't a 'Doom' game at all. According to many it is the best Doom game ever (I might be in that camp depending on mood) yet does not play anything like any other Doom game. I remember Doom 2016 getting a lot a backlash for NOT being Doom 3.1 yet was far more Doom than 3 ever wanted to be.

Damn.
