i have it on my 2020 Lexus UX250h and my 2022 RX450H
it takes driving to level 2 autonomous driving.
it will keep you in lane without having hands on the wheel.
it will keep you in lane when you are braking
it will keep you in lane during stop and go traffic.
it will do stop and go traffic. you can have both hands on a big mac in traffic and the car will start and stop.
FYI i bought mine when it was $2500 plus 200 for the cable. $1050 right now is cheap AF.
There are clones out there but i read constantly of failures. mine has worked flawlessly.
I run sunny pilot fork.
You dont need to drive a lot to need this or appreciate this device. its one of those things, once you have it and use it you'll never want to go back LOL.

I compare the factory system with the Comma in this way - the factory system is like having an 8yo drive for you. With a little bit of practice they can be ok, but if you have to "take control" they are easy to overpower, and you can't trust them with anything hard.
The Comma is like having a 12yo drive - it can handle most curves (I have even done a cloverleaf several times), and it's much stronger so if you step in you have to be a bit more aggressive at the wheel. But it handles 98% of situations great, doesn't need perfect lines, hell, the Comma 3 can see better in a blizzard than I can. Yet you'd be an idiot to let a 12yo drive by themselves, so of course you need to pay attention. I personally find I can pay better attention because I'm not constantly adjusting the steering wheel, especially on a windy day. I also see so many people crossing yellow lines and find myself wishing they had Commas also, while my car stays smack dab between the lines for hundreds of miles.
The driver monitoring system works well to nag me fairly aggressively if I don't pay attention well enough, and for the most part I'm ok with that, minus the occasional glance at something pretty for half a second too long. It also gets angry at me if I dip my head to take a drink from a straw, but that's the only remotely buggy issues I've seen.
If I'm not actively doing something, then I'm sleeping.

For non-highway driving, Comma is helpful but requires more interventions. The "experimental" mode will stop for red lights and stop signs. But it doesn't feel natural yet. Although the experimental mode is improving with each update, I suspect it will take a few years to become stable.
The installation (mounting & software installation) took about an hour. I followed the installation guide video [youtube.com]. For reference, I know nothing about cars. Replacing wiper blades & filters, and refilling washer fluids are pretty much the only things I know how to do.
If Comma supports your car [comma.ai] and if you frequently get on the highway, I highly recommend trying Comma out! You can always return it within 30 days for a full refund if you don't find it useful.
I do chew sunflower seeds almost constantly while highway driving and that luckily works like magic to keep me awake. Seeds are my best defense against sleep, and the Comma's driver monitoring system is a nice secondary system I wouldn't have otherwise. Normally while sleepy I would convince myself I'm ok, but if the Comma nagged at me 3-4 times in a row, I'm going to just pull over cuz the nag is too annoying to ignore.
Several of my friends with Subarus have them. And a few Lexus.
The only complaint I've heard is sometimes turns get a bit nerve racking, and the system does not work with lane changes. It just gets over. Doesn't matter what's next to you.
I'd be all over this but sadly it's not compatible with our bmw or Audi system.
