True. However, these jackets have a fantastic resale value. You can easily sell them for around $50-$60.
Ours have lasted sometimes two seasons when buying slightly larger than needed and the quality is outstanding compared to other brands. It's great that they will continue to get used for years to come being passed down to other people rather than ending up in a landfill.

When you can get a good deal on them, it's worth it for those reasons.
