Is the screen size a limitation at all here as far as throttling goes? I've read some comments here with other MBPs that if you don't get 16", you can't actually access the full speed/power you are paying for?

apple M chip also has unified memory and 96gb ram can be used for GPU like Vram. RTX 4090 only has 24GB vram, so it can be considered as 4x4090. of course it won't be the same power/performance like 4x4090, I'm just saying the vram amount that can be used. Nvidia H100 has similar Vram but cost $30-50k per card.

The Venn diagram of getting an extremely out spec'd device and keeping it for a very long time is pretty small.
