Fandango is a much more known brand name than VUDU ever was. I have had to explain VUDU to numerous people over the years, never Fandango.

Myspace founded before Twitter (x). Which one has a bigger name now? Year of founding is irrelevant imo. But to be honest I don't think either brand has brand recognition. Just my opinion.

I disagree that VUDU is a bigger brand than Fandango, otherwise VUDU would have absorbed Fandango, not the other way around. I also don't care that Fandango At Home is a mouthful because I don't anticipate calling it that on a day-to-day. I'll just call it Fandango as I'm sure the rest of the masses will, eventually. I believe VUDU is only a bigger known brand to people *currently* using VUDU but Fandango is known to most moviegoers, hence why they wanted to slap their name on the streaming serving they bought and merged with.
