You can use this company based in Portugal, but make sure you use a no foreign transaction fee card on Paypal and pay in euros, if you don't want paypal to charge extra conversion fees.

I wish we didn't have the yearly prescription requirement. My contact prescription doesn't change, and $150-$200 a year for exams is expensive! You can get your contacts shipped from overseas, but most don't want that hassle or risk.

For those asking about buying without prescription, order from the website from this deal and don't upload any rx. I have only done so during business hours and my order has always been shipped within 2 hours with no prescription. Have been doing this for a while.

Well that's illegal for you to order without an Rx and illegal for the company to fill the order without an Rx. Hubble paid a hefty fine for this reason.
Illegal to order? Even if they fulfill the order all by themselves? I found this out by accident, when I gave up about ordering and didn't upload my (valid) rx. I thought it would just be canceled but they shipped it. Do you mind sharing who exactly fined you and how much the fine was?

all the contacts sites do this- list a price on google but then tack on massive processing fees.

you have to go to each site and populate their cart to the point of submit to see all fees and actual otd price.

Yes, contact lenses are medical devices, so it would be the same as going online and ordering blood pressure medication without a prescription.
Hubble (a contact lens company) was fined 3.5 million for illegally filling Rx's. As a side note, their contacts are not breathable and not the best option for the health of your eyes.

Got it. So to me it seems like it's more on them rather than on the consumer's end. I get that they need to ask for an rx, but if they don't, there's nothing illegal about the consumer's action. I mean, what's illegal about me entering a pharmacy and ordering something I don't have the rx for? Nothing, they will simply not fulfill it. Now, if they do, there's still nothing illegal on my end, just potentially on theirs.

It's extremely important to continue to get your eyes checked, there are so many important things your doctor looks for other than your contact prescription.

If it is about eye health, why the double standard for eyeglasses users? I can buy eyeglasses with an old prescription in the US without issue.

Technically eyeglass prescriptions should have a 2 year expiration (this varies state by state) but in regards to eye health, improper use of contact lenses is the #1 cause of eye infections. Glasses don't have that problem. Generally, those who skip their exams are also more likely to improperly replace/sleep/overuse, etc and have a higher risk of problems. Checking the back of the eye with dilation or retinal photography is important for all.

I don't think the exams are a bad thing, if you have the money and time to get them yearly, go for it! But, I don't want the government forcing me to get yearly prescriptions by blocking my purchase of contacts. Going to the dentist for a cleaning every six months is probably a good thing too, but I can't afford it, so I clean my teeth to the best of my ability. As to eye infections, I soak in high quality disinfecting solution every night, and always wash my hands thoroughly before removal or installation of my contacts. Following those procedures I have not had to deal with eye infections thankfully.

No you can't. That's not supposed to be allowed either. So no double standard.

I have bought prescription lenses from Zenni with expired prescriptions before, no hassle.

"Can I use an expired prescription to order glasses from Zenni?
We strongly advise against using an expired prescription. An outdated prescription may not provide the best vision. Regular eye exams are essential for maintaining your eye health and visual clarity."

You can do an online exam for $15.99 and renew your expired prescription at lens.com.
