You can use this company based in Portugal, but make sure you use a no foreign transaction fee card on Paypal and pay in euros, if you don't want paypal to charge extra conversion fees.

I wish we didn't have the yearly prescription requirement. My contact prescription doesn't change, and $150-$200 a year for exams is expensive! You can get your contacts shipped from overseas, but most don't want that hassle or risk.

1800 contacts wouldn't price match EZContacts. I was curious what Costco's pricing was since I bought from them last time. $40ish per box w/ $60 off if you buy 4 B+L Ultras. I got 4 boxes shipped for $103. I thought it was worth it to pay $15 more to get them from Costco vs EZContacts. This is still a great deal nonetheless.

Was that for contacts or eyeglasses? Contact exams are more expensive in my experience, and last time I checked around in 2019 places were charging $200, I found Costco to be the cheapest ~$150.
Both. I always do both at the same time, I think it would be cheaper for just glasses.

Wow, you are lucky! Here in FL, it is way more expensive.

I am fully aware of that. That's not the point.

If one previously got a prescription and knows their "values", one should be free to buy contacts or glasses regardless of whether that prescription is "expired" (or exists at all). Obviously, if the numbers don't work out anymore, the vast majority of people will have no choice but to get an eye exam as they don't have the skill/knowledge and equipment needed to figure out new values. If my prescription still is just fine after 3 years, I should be free to continue to get the same stuff. Is it a good idea to go see a doctor regardless? Yes. But I should have the choice of skipping that if I know what I need.

After all, you could make the same statement about a gazillion of health conditions, many of which can have serious or fatal outcomes if not treated properly. Nothing that special about eyes. Being blind is arguably better than being dead. Personal responsibility...
That is the point. I answered why there's a difference between OTC reading glasses and contacts.

Eye doc here. Online contacts as a category are one of the most egregious frauds I know of. We see patients come in with problems to find that their online lenses are either straight up counterfeit or defective (a lot of these sites supposedly do currency exchange arbitrage where they're bought cheap in another country and sit in a freezing or steaming hot storage container somewhere for who knows how long).

I can't say they're all like that but in short, if they're selling a box of contacts for cheaper than a legitimate business can buy them wholesale in bulk, and if the website has some cheesy name like this (vs. say, Walgreens), be very skeptical.

Keep in mind it wasn't long ago that we had people literally dying and losing eyes from contaminated sketchy internet eye drops. Contact lenses should be scrutinized equally.

*Oh, and sites almost never verify with your doctor that You're getting the right product. Sometimes they'll even send a "verification" weeks after they've already shipped the product to the customer. If you doubt, call your eye doc and ask.
You are eye doc and you don't know how legit ezcontact website is ? You must be type of doc want to lure patient to buy contact lenses from your office so you can get more commission.

How's your experience with this?
Update: I ordered on 3/9, and my contacts were delivered today 3/19. Legit Accuvue2 contacts, with an expiration of 2028-08-01. I am happy with that outcome.

If that's the spelling on the box, I wouldn't be so sure they are legit.

They look legit to me! Check out the linked image.

Ordered for my wife. The sale contacts were not the B&L for presbiopia.
With several calls in to cs they finally got back to her. The presbiopia were $72, still a good deal. They corrected the order and gave her a 10% discount for the email. Lenses were delivered today, next day after cs corrected. Looks good! $65 a box.

I went 5~ years using the same prescription ordering contacts online including from different websites. Any copy of a script no matter how out of data has always been filled with zero pushback

Sorry, my comment was more so directed towards you and a couple others on this thread. I apologize to the community.
If you really want to save some money, wear your glasses for a couple years. It's beneficial for your eye health as well.
Oh I know contact lens retailers don't follow the rules. Just because you can get away with something doesn't mean you should do it.
Shut it down. From your trolling on this thread, you're obviously officiated with the eye industry whether directly or indirectly. Typical salesman scare tactics too. What you don't realize is some people are really struggling in this country just for basic groceries and don't need the government & eye industry lobbyists forcing them to pay for yearly exams. They would rather be able to eat. As if healthcare costs are not already out of control.
