My wife's phone has a slight convex curve now. It lays down flat, appears flat. But just looking at her screen, it just doesn't feel flat anymore. Maybe I'm tripping, i dunno, but she also notices that her phone looks convex.
My guess is that the phone lying on that charger, only supported in the center, over time with the charger getting warm, it causes the phone to bend a bit. Just my theory...

I highly doubt it'll bend by simply laying on the charger no matter how hot the charger might make it. It could be an illusion like you said. Does your wife place the phone in her back pocket by chance? I've read about people unwittingly bending their phones by sitting with the phone in their back pocket.
You could always take it out of the case and place a ruler along its edge against both the screen and back side to see if it's flat or not.

Used it for 1 week so and it's fine…don't know if its slow or not but it's main use is travel and bedside charging for overnight…if you're going to charge 3 things it's going to be slow. Plus it's wireless so it's going to be slow already.
