Just wanted to highlight the "keep it charged" portion. Absolutely. I got burned hard by this. Bought one with thousands of great reviews, fully charged it, put it in my trunk. Fast forward probably 10ish months. Wife and I are returning from 2 weeks in Europe. Car battery is dead. Excited to use my toy, I give the battery pack a shot, and it's too weak to turn over my 4 cylinder. PISSED! It's like carrying a sidearm for 20 years, then it failing when you finally need it. Lesson learned. Top the battery pack off every 3-4 months.
Also I have an Imazing brand one as well. Hate it. It requires a button be pressed to switch into "ultra current jump start mode" (which is not uncommon), but only stays in the mode for a few seconds if it detects no significant draw. This means you have to hit the button, then race into the driver's seat, foot on the brake and push-button start the vehicle within about 5 seconds. Keep in mind the vehicle takes 2-3 seconds to actually crank and start after you hit the push-button start. Took over 10 attempts, with a dead battery in a parking lot, but I finally got it. It basically requires two people. Complete POS.

They are just making a stupid comment. EV owners don't need this anymore then a gas vehicle owner would. Both can have their 12v battery die.
It was a very clever and funny comment. Lighten up brah.
Here's the deal people. If your car is dead in the middle of a cold night or your daughter is stranded out somewhere, you want something that is going to work everytime, not some cheap ass may or may not work jump start. Dont be cheap, buy a Noco or a Hulkman.
Rant over(for now).

I keep a regular Ravpower brand 20A battery in my car year round. No problems.
I have a larger one and at this price point would be great to have one in each.
My car battery was completely dead, and I did not charge it to test this.
It started the engine 1s or so, and then the engine stopped.
I just jump-started it from another car.
How to use it?
